Our Beliefs… a theory now given credence by Scientists!

We at Caldwell Golf have worked several years to develop and patent a golf club that -many believe- has revolutionized golf.  Paradigm shifts do not come easily nor have they been accomplished in golf very many times.  The industry basically moved from persimmon to steel to titanium and then to bi-metals and tri-metals… now there’s a movement towards composites.

• We believe that the sound and feel of metal woods has taken golf from the original sound and feel of persimmon to an unacceptable result.
  
  
• We believe most driver heads are much too large and sound too “tinny”.
  
  
• We believe metal soleplates lower the center of gravity too much.
  
  
• We have proven -through independent robotic tests- that as swing speeds increase, metal woods generate higher spin rates than the MalibuWoody®.   With the MalibuWoody® the opposite is true.  The faster the swing speed the lower the spin rate.

Caldwell Golf holds some basic beliefs about golf club design and functionality.

Our longtime beliefs are now made manifest in the all new MalibuWoody®... the only golf club on the market with patented “Legal Cork®" placed high in the club head.  Coupling the “Legal Cork®" with a patented super-light Ryton® soleplate, creates a high center of gravity, allowing golfers to get a desired distance while playing a more controllable and higher loft.

• The MalibuWoody® is only 265cc’s (A Centuries Old Standard), not the bigger than a bucket 460cc’s Tin Cans.
  
  
• Ball/club impact causes a shock/sound wave of vibration running up the shaft.  This is noisy “dirty” air and has a negative effect on the shaft and the degree of ball dispersion.  The louder the “Tin Cans” sound…the more negative the effect.
  
  
• Our ceramic composite defuses this impact and in turn reduces the shock/sound wave and produces harmonic stability. 
  
  
• Because of this “harmonic stability”, golfers are able to use lighter weight (and softer) shafts to obtain the desirous results... deep and in the "shortgrass!"
